What does this achievement mean for Pentagro’s journey?
Last week, we participated in the 14th edition of the Visão Agro Centro-Sul Award, and for the third consecutive year, Pentagro was recognized in the “Industry 4.0” category.
Being a reference in agroindustrial innovation is a source of pride — and the result of a journey built on research, hard work, and strong partnerships.
And like every journey, ours began with a seed.
🌱 Seed (2006–2009)
Pentagro was founded in 2006 by André Lins de Albuquerque and Cláudio Policastro.
It all started with an idea — a seed — nurtured by curiosity, research, and dedication.
This is how the foundations of our first projects began to grow.
▶️ MVP (2009–2011)
In 2009, we launched the MVP of our pioneering solution: the Pentagro Simulator.
It was the first step in turning our ideas into real, high-quality industrial technology.
▶️ Early Stage (2012–2018) – “The Valley of Death”
Between 2012 and 2018, we developed new solutions such as Pentagro PGDI and GDI, adopting the SaaS model.
These were challenging years, but they consolidated our technical and strategic foundations.
▶️ Scale Up (2019–2022) – “Break Even”
During this stage, we expanded our portfolio with the launch of Pentagro Everest and extended our reach beyond sugarcane, serving corn and citrus industrial plants as well.
Growth was steady, driven by solutions that evolved alongside our clients’ needs — always with a clear vision for the future.
🌳 Expansion (2023–Present)
Our evolution continues at full speed:
Pentagro Everest has been enhanced, and Pentagro PGDI has undergone major transformations.
In 2022, we launched the Next-Generation PGDI — fully web-based, faster, and more mobile.
And in 2025, we introduced integrated modules for PGDI 2025, including RTA (Anomaly Analysis) and PCP (Master Production Planning) — bringing even more innovation, efficiency, and results!
We advance in technology while keeping close to our clients and their operations.
