Pentagro took part in the latest ISSCT Joint Engineering and Processing Workshop, held from October 6–10, 2024, in Berlin, Germany, organized by the renowned International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (ISSCT). Our Operations Director, Raul Marcel Daré, represented the company and presented our innovative solutions.
The event brought together companies from over 20 countries to discuss the main innovations and trends in the sugarcane industry, with a strong focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and decarbonization. Over three days, presentations and technical discussions highlighted key trends and advancements in the sugar-energy sector, including Industry 4.0.
📌 For Pentagro, this workshop was a significant milestone, as we showcased our technologies to an international audience — with special emphasis on our Online Digital Twin, a pioneering solution in the agribusiness market. We also engaged in discussions on fundamental topics shaping the future of both agribusiness and Industry 4.0.
📅 The event also included a visit to Klein Wanzleben, one of the world’s most modern sugar and ethanol beet plants, providing a valuable exchange of knowledge between the sugarcane and sugar beet industries.
